Cemented Implant Crown

Prior to restoration, Jeff P Dental will, upon your request, implement all necessary prosthetic components for your implant cases, regardless of the brand or type of implant used.

You can send us a stock of abutments (ti-base, multi-unit, standard straight abutments for cemented prostheses…) along with a few replicas for model fabrication, which we store and reuse. Alternatively, you can entrust us with the fabrication of custom abutments based on your implant system’s 3D library.

If you prefer using your own abutments, we manage your stock, notify you when a restock is needed, and provide a DHL label to schedule pickup from your clinic at no cost.

We collaborate with all major implant system manufacturers to meet your clinical requirements.

The cemented implant crown can be produced in titanium, titanium-ceramic (or Cr-Co), full zirconia, layered zirconia, or E-max, depending on your aesthetic and functional needs.

To minimize the risk of residual cement in the peri-implant space, Jeff P Dental strongly recommends using custom abutments in titanium or zirconia for this type of single-unit cemented prosthesis.

Each milled cemented crown can, upon request, include a discreet lingual notch to facilitate potential removal in case of abutment loosening.

Main Indications:

  • Single-unit or short-span restorations
  • Screw access hole compromises esthetics or occlusion
  • Misaligned implants (divergent axes)
  • Narrow teeth with limited screw access

Contraindications:

  • Insufficient interocclusal space
  • Full-arch or extensive restorations (prefer screw-retained prosthesis)
  • Complex evolving cases requiring frequent adjustments
  • Deep subgingival margins (> 3 mm)
  • High risk of technical or biological complications

Advantages of the Cemented Implant Crown

Technical
Based on the principles of conventional fixed prosthodontics, with an abutment similar to a prepared natural tooth. This facilitates chairside procedures and adjustment control while simplifying provisional fabrication.

Aesthetic
A wide range of abutment options allows for optimal emergence profile and crown design. The absence of screw access preserves the cosmetic surface, especially on occlusal surfaces.

Biomechanical & Functional
Cementation ensures a passive fit, lowers the risk of abutment loosening, and improves fracture resistance. Occlusion can be precisely balanced, just as in tooth-supported prostheses.
